Travis Hanour is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, creative director, and designer based out of Los Angeles. Hailed as one of the most promising newcomers in film, and named one of SHOOT Magazine’s 5 Up-and-Coming Directors, Travis’ work is characterized by a unique balance of meticulous imagery, carnal verity, and nuanced storytelling.
A former Division 1 basketball player, Travis has become known throughout the industry for directing the biggest names in professional sports (Brady, Federer, McIlroy, Donovan, Antetokounmpo), and for an unmistakable sense of tone throughout his work. Travis attributes his approach to storytelling – finding creativity at the intersection of raw freeform and rigid precision – to his early roots in graphic design, visual effects, and then as an agency Creative Director.
Travis’ experience as a director and writer spans a wide range of formats, mediums and brands, having helmed creative efforts for brands like Nike, EA Sports, NFL, Jordan, Microsoft, Uniqlo, AMD, Intel, TaylorMade, Disney, and Sonos. He is also currently in development on a number of feature-length films and television series.
