Olivia Emes is a passionate and authentic storyteller, using music and documentary filmmaking to highlight unique perspectives and champion voices that often go unheard.
Olivia has directed culturally relevant content for some of the biggest brands in the world, including Red Bull, YouTube, Apple Music, Warner, BMW and TikTok. This has led her to shoot globally renowned artists such as Shakira, Elton John, Steflon Don, Liam Gallagher, Krept and Konan, Mr Eazi, Rag N Bone Man, Ed Sheeran and Dizzie Rascal, to name a few.
Olivia started her career working for MTV2 Gonzo, before going on to work with Beats1 and other platforms such as Noisey and Vice. Her warmth and experience means she’s able to make talent feel instantly comfortable, resulting in memorable moments that provoke an emotional connection with viewers.
Olivia has also recently shot and produced her first feature length documentary, ‘Marietta’, and is developing two other projects looking at colorism within the beauty industry and the effect of property development in London.
